NOTICE OF COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING

AIR MONITORING DATA

The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau announces its intention to seek the exclusion of certain air monitoring data from consideration by the United States Environmental Protection Agency because of exceptional events under EPA’s Exceptional Events Policy for the following date:

October 17, 2010 for Fine Particles

Materials concerning this request are available for public review at www.pollutionsolution.org and in person at the offices of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau beginning at 8:00 A.M., Friday, May 6, 2011.If any person wishes to request a hearing, a written request for such hearing must be made and delivered to the Bureau Director by 3:00 P.M., Monday, June 6, 2011, 6125 Preservation Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37416 telephone 423-643-5970.If a hearing is requested, it shall be held before the Director to receive further comment at the above address at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
